Overview:

Billed as the highest festival in the U.K. Summit Festival was founded in 2004 as one of my first truly successful ventures attracting international artists and festival go-ers from all over Europe.

I designed and created www.summitfestival.co.uk . We accepted payments online lending to one of my later ventures, Nexpay.

Learning about clunky payment integrations such as PayPal and Protex, Formally SagePay, now Opayo along with long payment delays due to the high risk nature of events and accepting foreign currencies fascinated me.

A big challenge was reconciling tickets at the gates for which we had to create a part paper part database system.
